Catholic Cemeteries and Mortuaries invite you to participate in The Way of the Cross, a spiritual pilgrimage every Sunday during Lent at Calvary Cemetery in East Los Angeles. Our prayer services will begin at 2 p.m., as we call upon the historic stations symbolizing Jesus's last walk to Mount Calvary. These beautiful outdoor stations, donated by local parishes and catholic organizations, adorn the roads at Calvary. In addition, Resurrection Church will host a special reenactment of the Passion of the Lord on Palm Sunday, April 10, 2022. In observance of World Day of the Sick and the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, a bilingual healing and anointing Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. Archbishop Jose Gomez will be presider at Mass that will include the Anointing of the Sick, Blessing of Caregiver Hands, and Blessing with Lourdes Water. Attendees will receive Lourdes Water and a holy card. Cohosted by the Order of Malta and the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, the Mass will be live-streamed on youtube.com/olacathedral and facebook.com/olacathedral.
