About Calvary Cemetery

Rich in heritage, Calvary Cemetery has been a peaceful resting place for Catholics in Santa Barbara since the late 19th century. The sprawling acres still reflect the care of Calvary’s founder, a missionary priest who was also a botanist. Be inspired by Calvary’s traditional works of religious art – and amazed by the beauty of the Santa Ynez Mountains, which stand as the cemetery’s natural backdrop. Join us for special Masses and prayer events during the year.

Monthly Memorial Mass

Catholic Cemeteries & Mortuaries invites you to remember and pray for those we have lost by joining us on the second Tuesday of each month for our Memorial Mass. Special intentions are offered for those recently served by our Catholic Cemeteries and Mortuaries. This Mass is celebrated in the historic Mission San Fernando Rey de España, Mission Hills California.
