Throughout our cemeteries, families will gather to create beautiful altars adorned with photographs, flowers, candles, and treasured mementos. These heartfelt tributes tell stories of love that endures beyond death and remind us that those we cherish remain forever present in our hearts.
Whether you are continuing a family tradition or participating for the first time, we welcome you to join this special celebration of remembrance, faith, and hope.
This year, Catholic Cemeteries & Mortuaries will host official Día de los Muertos observances at
Calvary Cemetery & Mortuary in Los Angeles, Santa Clara Cemetery & Mortuary in Oxnard, and San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills. Each location will welcome families and the community for a day of prayer, remembrance, cultural tradition, and celebration of life.

Families wishing to create an altar may now register for this year's observance. Space is limited, and altar placements will be assigned based on availability. Once you submit your registration, a cemetery representative will review your request and contact you with confirmation and additional event details.
